Common questions
When is the 2026 festival?
Three Sundays — September 27, October 4 and October 11, 2026. The grounds are open 11 AM to 4 PM each day.
Where is it held?
On the Sacred Heart Church grounds at Walnut Street and North 2nd Street, Oconee, IL 62553.
Do the rides and games cost money?
Most attractions run on tickets, sold at the Ticket Shack on the grounds. Putt Putt Golf is 3 tickets or $3. The Corn Pit is free.
What is there to eat?
Pork ribeye sandwiches, pulled pork, BBQ nachos and baked potatoes, funnel cakes and baked potatoes, plus stands of their own for ribbon fries, kettle corn and fresh-churned ice cream, and the Apple Shack for cider, slushees and caramel apples.
How do I buy Jack-O-Pot tickets?
See any Sacred Heart parishioner, or call the church office at 217-539-4325. Tickets are $20 for one, $50 for three, or $100 for seven.
When are the Jack-O-Pot drawings?
The $500 Early Bird is drawn September 20. Four $200 drawings are held September 27, four more October 4, and three $1,000 drawings close it out on October 11.
